Reconstruction is a special definition, which, according to the Town Planning Code, characterizes the updating of the parameters of the construction object, due to which it undergoes a major change and improvement of important qualities, and a transition to another class.

What is reconstruction? The concept is used for:
- Capital construction projects, excluding linear ones. This is an update of the characteristics of the object and its key parts. For example, an add-in or an extension.
- Linear objects - changing the qualities and characteristics of the objects themselves or their parts to improve the functionality and indicators of strength, load capacity.
