Early years and education
On August 25, 1953, Dmitriev Vladimir Alexandrovich appeared in Moscow. The future financier was born in a working class family, both of his parents worked all his life, from the age of 14, at the Banner of Labor plant. They did not want a different fate for their son. After the 9th grade during the holidays, Vladimir came to the factory, where he worked as a turner. However, the great successes of his son in school and the obvious penchant for foreign languages and humanitarian subjects gave parents the idea that he needed to study further.
After school, Vladimir decided to enter a prestigious university, at MGIMO. But he could not score the required points in the entrance exams and went to the very very popular Financial Institute, in the area of preparation close to MGIMO, to "International Economic Relations". He studied very well at the institute, managed to pass exams ahead of schedule in order to go to the construction team. Vladimir worked in Khakassia, Sakhalin and in the suburbs. According to him, it was a very important life experience. In his fifth year, he moonlighted at night at the "parent" plant as a loader. In 1975, Dmitriev successfully graduated from high school and went into great life.
Start of work
Immediately after graduation, Dmitriev Vladimir got a job in the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on Foreign Economic Relations as an engineer. However, the technical work was not to his liking. And after serving in the Council of Ministers for 4 years, Dmitriev decided to change his field of activity and went to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
In 1979, Vladimir received a small position in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For 4 years he worked in the department of the Scandinavian countries and showed himself from the best side. In 1997, Andrei Kostin, who headed the VEB, invited Dmitriev to his deputies. At that time, the bank serviced certain operations of the Russian government, including payments on foreign debt. In 2005, under the leadership of Vladimir Alexandrovich, a program was launched to create the Russian Development Bank, a large financial structure under the government of the Russian Federation. Chamber of Commerce and Industry
A month after dismissal from VEB, Dmitriev received a new appointment. At the general congress of the CCI, he was elected vice president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia. Scientific and pedagogical activity
