The attractiveness of doing business in Russia is undeniable for an entrepreneur from Belarus, but the differences in the law are significant. The law provides equal opportunities for Russian citizens and foreigners, but for the latter, a preliminary decision on temporary residence or a residence permit is mandatory.
Historically, for example, birth on the territory of the Russian Federation or marriage with a citizen of the Russian Federation, there are some advantages, but even a native citizen of Belarus can become an individual entrepreneur in Russia and organize a successful business.

From the moment of filing the documents, within three working days the tax inspectorate will carry out state registration in the status of individual entrepreneur of Belarus, will issue him a certificate of OGRNIP, an entry from the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs and a notification of tax registration. You must obtain a temporary residence permit - this is a mark in your passport. The peculiarity of the mentality of both countries: some do business, others look after it. If one Belarusian went to do business in Russia, then why not another Belarusian think “why?”. Why is the homeland worse?
It is clear when a person was born outside the territory of Belarus, but it is not clear why he lived here for so long, and then suddenly decided to go to Russia to become an individual entrepreneur.There are no complaints if we are talking about changing citizenship, but if we are talking about a temporary business ... this will cause some interest.
In fact, becoming an individual in Belarus is not such a big problem. It’s just a matter of time, money and desire to work, but if, in fact, registration of IP, the instruction and procedure for its reification is simple, it is still not worth discarding the features and differences of mentality both at home and on the territory of the business.
