The easiest way to obtain citizenship by naturalization is for immigrants from the following Muslim powers:
- Bahrain;
- Qatar;
- Oman.
In order to obtain UAE citizenship, it is necessary to live on the territory of the state for a certain time, established by the legislation of the country. The duration of a continuous location in a Muslim country varies for different categories of people:
- three years, women who wish to stay and obtain a residence permit or permanent residence (and subsequently citizenship) must live in the country by marriage with an indigenous person;
- seven years must be lived in the UAE by those with Arab roots;
- for the remaining categories of people you need to live in the country for at least thirty years, but there is no guarantee of a positive decision on the application for citizenship.
In addition, to legalize a foreigner, it is necessary to observe some more nuances regarding the acquisition of citizenship:
- have formal employment with income in a completely legal way;
- submit documents confirming the absence of a criminal record and problems with the law;

Obtaining citizenship at marriage with citizens of the UAE
For immigrants from the Russian Federation, the only hope for obtaining citizenship is marriage, as this is one of the easiest options for obtaining a passport of a citizen of the United Arab Emirates. But I want to note that this method is suitable exclusively for foreign women. According to current legislation, a man who has entered into legal marriage with a native Muslim woman cannot claim the status of legal representative.
But for a woman who came from another state to successfully marry a native inhabitant of the UAE, formal marriage is not enough.You should be an exemplary wife who is loyal to her husband and has good housekeeping. At the same time, do not forget that a husband can have several wives under the law. A foreign woman has the right to UAE citizenship only three years after entering into marriage.
There are other obligations for legalization for a foreign woman:

- earn the trust of all members of a Muslim family;

Obtaining citizenship at birth and origin
A documented fact of birth does not yet give a newborn the right to automatically acquire citizenship. An exception to the rule is the case when both mom and dad are unknown persons, that is, stateless persons.

- whose father is the legal representative of the UAE, it does not matter where the child was born;
- whose mother is a citizen of the UAE, and the father bears the status of an unknown or does not have a Muslim passport.
Children whose mother is a native Muslim and the father does not have citizenship can apply for citizenship after reaching the age of eighteen.
According to the legal practice and legislation of the country, in case of divorce and family troubles, the mother does not have any rights to her children. In the case when children were born in an illegitimate union, they have the right to obtain the citizenship of a monarchical power only if the pope recognizes paternity.
Loss of citizenship
