You can apply for elections from a personal account on the Gosuslug portal - online.

  1. Follow the link to your personal account.
  2. Click on "Select Polling Station." Next, select the application method - this, respectively, in your case - online through the state portal. Click on the banner "Get the service."
  3. Next, you will see an application form with all the data, you need to check their relevance (they are transferred here automatically from the personal account of the portal). If the data is different, correct it by clicking on the "Change data" link.
  4. Indicate the registration address, if there is none, put a tick about it, then select the country of voting and your location (the name of the city, street and metro station) from the list that will correspond to your location on the day of voting.
  5. Make a choice of the polling station, click on the address convenient for you and click "Select." Confirm the relevance of the indicated registration address and your agreement that the application for changing the polling station is submitted only once.
  6. Next, expect SMS notifications on your mobile phone, indicated in the personal account of the portal. It contains an action confirmation code. Enter it in the required field, click "Submit".
  7. You will find yourself on the notification page of your personal account with information about the application, after a while it will receive the status of "Registered".

That part of the application, that is, in fact, an absentee ballot that is printed out, can be downloaded by you, and you can send it by e-mail.

Do not forget to take it to the indicated site on the day of the election. If you cannot print, show the application to the election commission members on the mobile phone screen.

What to bring with you?

If you have a written and registered statement of intention to vote at the place of stay (this applies to air harbors and stations), then you only need a passport. If there is no passport (in the process of re-issuance), then, having appeared at the polling station at the address of registration or in a place convenient for you, you must have a temporary ID of a Russian citizen with you, and if you are a military person, you can vote on a military ID or temporary document instead of him.

Lost your passport ... or reissuing a document. Contact the official bodies of the migration service for obtaining a temporary identity card, presenting it, you can cast your vote for the future President of the country.

In addition, you can vote:

  • as indicated above, on a military ID or on a certificate temporarily replacing it;

  • for a passport in case of permanent residence outside the borders of the Russian Federation;
