In simple words, OKVED is a coded list of activities in which each type corresponds to a certain code of several digits. The use of this classifier is necessary so that tax and audit authorities have an idea of the type of activity of the enterprise.
For example, finishing work on OKVED are located in section F, the general code of group 43, subgroup 43.3. Group 43 includes various specialized types of construction work, which include finishing work. OKVED in this category has many subspecies, groups and categories, therefore, before registering an IP, it is better to study and select the necessary items in advance.
How to choose the code for OKVED?
In the application for registration of IP there is a separate line in which the OKVED codes characterizing the activities of the enterprise are entered. It is important that the number of codes that an entrepreneur can enter is not limited, but the main code should be put first.
If you plan to deal with the demolition of buildings, then you should choose code 43.11, electrical work - 43.21 in OKVED. Finishing work under the code 43.3. have many subheadings. For example, plastering work is called 43.31, and work on the device for flooring - 43.33.
Thus, if you plan to carry out a wide range of repair and finishing work, then you can select the entire group 43.3. If you plan to specialize only in certain types of work, then select several codes from the classifier of subgroup 43.3.
