- exercising control over the correctness and completeness of filling in the primary documentation, which is the basis for calculating the RFP (such documents include waybills, as well as time sheets);
- participation in the development of measures, as well as monitoring compliance with traffic rules, road safety when organizing passenger and freight traffic, rules and regulations of health and safety;
- providing briefings to employees on compliance with fire safety and health regulations;
- participation in investigations in the event of accidents or traffic violations;
participation in registration in the traffic police of tractor equipment, vehicles and mechanisms.

A responsible position is the head of the workshop. The duties performed by the employee suggest a high level of responsibility, since often the lives and health of others indirectly depend on his actions.
The employee holding this position is responsible for:
- non-compliance or improper implementation of orders and decisions of the top management of the enterprise on any issues that fall within its competence;
- careless attitude to material values and their accounting;
- failure to comply with the reporting deadlines, as well as the order in which it is drawn up;
- reporting false information;
- untimely or fuzzy performance of their duties specified in the job description;
- incorrect filling of the primary documentation, which is the basis for calculating the RFP, as well as writing off fuel and lubricants, spare parts or other material values.
Collaboration with colleagues
The shop manager, whose duties are diverse, also communicates with colleagues from different departments in his work on service. With accounting, supply department, logistics, warehouse parts of communication occur several times a day.
For communication with colleagues to be productive, the employee appointed to this position must be sociable, communicative, and non-conflict. However, softness and suppleness in this position will harm the productivity of the entire department.
