To calculate the amount of the contract, the appropriate tariffs are used for such work. Their legal basis is fixed by the rules for calculating maintenance and repair of home and gas apartment appliances approved by the FAS of the Russian Federation.
To determine the cost of maintenance and repair work, the recommendations described in the Order of the Federal Tariff Service No. 269 / e8 are used. Payment for repairs performed is carried out at the rate applicable on the date of the customer’s request. The amount is displayed in the application.
The procedure for making payments for repair work is prescribed in the contract. Unless special conditions are provided for, the period shall be set until the tenth day of the next month. The amount of service depends solely on the gas appliances installed in the room. It includes the following services:

- Preventive measures to prevent emergency situations.
Throughout the agreement, minor troubleshooting and additional sealing of the connecting parts are free of charge. Serious problems entailing the repair and replacement of failed elements are eliminated at an additional cost.
Contract with a gas company: advantages and disadvantages
So why does the gas service force you to conclude a contract? This is, above all, a guarantee of security. The main advantages are considered to be the following:
- Systematic checks by qualified gas equipment specialists for proper functioning - absence of leaks and other malfunctions.
- High-quality repair if necessary.
- Fixed prices specified in the contract for repair, maintenance and inspection of all available equipment.
But along with all the advantages of concluding a service agreement with the gas service, there are some disadvantages. For example, unscrupulous gas organizations. In this case, of course, there can be no talk of qualified service. In addition, recently complaints about scammers entering into contracts only for the purpose of receiving a monthly fee have become more frequent. They do not provide any services.
