Money without money: Czech National Bank issued 0 € banknote

The Czech National Bank issued a banknote with a face value of 0 euros. It was released for a reason - on the anniversary of singer Karel Gott. The bill has become widely discussed, both among collectors and among ordinary citizens. It was developed back in 2015. A similar bill has already been issued in Britain and France.

Expectation

You could get this bill at an ATM located in Prague, in one of the bookstores. People came to line up in the evening, bringing sleeping bags with them. We slept right on the sidewalk.

Acquisition

The cost of the banknote is 5 kroons (14 rubles). On hands was issued no more than two copies. In total, 5 thousand banknotes were printed, so they were sold in just a few hours.

Ads from resellers are already appearing. The minimum price for a bill is 5 thousand crowns (14 thousand rubles).

Conclusion

Gott, who is depicted on the bill, is a rather famous person. He has released over 100 of his own albums. Also, the musician received 41 times the Golden Nightingale Award. All Czechs are proud of him, this explains the popularity of the banknote.

In France, the Eiffel Tower is printed on the bill, and Big Ben is printed on the British banknote.

I believe that this bill is a great option to honor the memory or perpetuate different symbols of the state.
