He twice entered various universities and twice he was expelled from there. The guy managed to stay only at Moscow Pedagogical University, where he came out with a diploma in psychology and teacher. At that time he was already twenty-eight years old.
First steps in a career
During his studies, Mikhail began to work in one of the capital’s secondary schools: first as a teacher in the lower grades, then as a psychologist. A penny salary of sixty-nine Soviet rubles was barely enough for food, so the man went to Israel in search of a better life. There, he worked as a psychologist, first in evening school, then at the city hall, then at a private company specializing in divorce proceedings. Of the salary of one thousand one hundred dollars, six hundred had to be paid for rental housing, so after a while Labkovsky could not stand it and returned to his homeland.
