Six-year-old Brady Campbell is probably one of the bravest and cutest young people you've ever heard of. Like many American children, the boy decided to sell lemonade next to his home in Stapleton, Colorado. While other guys across the country were selling sweet summer drinks to make money on inexpensive trinkets or, on the contrary, unrealistic adventures, Brady raised money to implement an idea that could only come up with a guy with a very kind heart.
What is hidden behind the sale of lemonade?
Looking at the boy’s bright smile, which could inspire joy in everyone around him, casual passers-by stumbling upon an advertisement for the sale of a delicious drink could not even think that Brady’s father, Brandon, who was helping his son with the organization of a new lemonade factory, died of a serious illness less than a day ago. No one knew this until the policeman approached the boy to drink a glass of lemonade and began to question him about the purposes of the trade: it turned out that Brady was going to make a present to his mother for the money he received - to invite her on a date.
Help people in uniform
The policeman paid for the drunk lemonade, and then did the best that can be done in such a situation - called in reinforcements.
On the walkie-talkie, he reported what he found out to his fellow police officers, who, in turn, told firefighters and rescuers working nearby. Soon, almost the whole area learned about the sale of lemonade, and in front of Brady's house there was a line of people who wanted to buy a drink.
Brady, who came to the house, not only drank lemonade, but also tried by all means to make the boy's day happier.
Brady's mother said that "you can not describe in words how important all this is for him."
This story makes us remember that behind every smile that we see on the street, a touching and sad story can be hidden.
