In this case, they try to trick users using expensive, and in some cases hidden transactions inside the application. One such application is the notorious iOS heart rate monitoring app, which has appeared on the App Store. It appeared only eight months after it was banned due to user complaints about cases of fraud and extorting them with hard-earned money. The application claims that it uses a Touch ID scanner for fingerprints, which is available on some iOS devices. Using this scanner, the user's pulse is supposedly being tracked.
