Peter was introduced to his future wife by Grace by the man’s mother. As a young man, he worked in the United States of America, although he was originally from Italy. Peter tried to come to visit his family and relatives every vacation. So it was in that year, when fate brought him to Grace.
When Peter came on another vacation, his mother began to constantly tell him that he was already a grown man, and it was time for him to start a family and give her grandchildren. The woman said she had in mind a “good girl” that fits her son perfectly. This was the daughter of Peter’s neighbors, and the young man decided to meet her.
As soon as he saw Grace, Peter fell in love with no memory, and she reciprocated. Young people quickly found a common language and got married just 40 days after they met.
Together they went to live in America, having settled in Hartward, in the state of Connecticut.
50 years of happiness
Peter and Grace lived in perfect harmony, they were very happy together. And during their marriage, which lasted 50 years, they had two children and four grandchildren. The family spent a lot of time together and always supported each other in everything.
Peter once suggested that Grace do something that would symbolize their boundless love for each other and that would always remain next to each of them, even when they were apart. He took out a one-dollar bill and wrote his name on one of them.
