The guy was unflattering about the clothes of his girlfriend, resembling bathrobes. In retaliation, she launched a blog

The woman received thousands of Instagram fans when she posted photos of the outfits that her boyfriend hated, and now makes her followers laugh at his sarcastic remarks.

Original blog

Olivia Jackson, 24, from London, created a blog to showcase things that she likes to wear and that her partner cannot appreciate.

Last March, she launched the series “Clothes My Boyfriend Hates” and shares photos on her Instagram profile. As a result, she recruited more than 14,000 subscribers.

Olivia said that her boyfriend has hated overalls for years, as well as anything related to tassels or velvet, and often posts his comments along with photos of things.

His point of view often contains a comparison of dresses with tea towels, hospital gowns and “color dreams”.

She did not give the name of her partner, but explained that they had been together for six years after they began dating in school. And the guy regularly declares his dislike for any clothes with velvet, tassels or bright colors.

What does it look like?

She regularly publishes her partner’s sarcastic comments along with pictures of the outfits and says that he called Zara polkadot coat “hospital gown”.

Olivia said: “My friends thought it sounds fun, so I decided to start posting photos and share the guy’s opinion.”

Her blog posts include “Turning a Dress My Boyfriend Doesn't Like Into What He Hates Even More” and “Things My Boyfriend Definitely Cannot Endure.”

All of Olivia’s posts can be found on her Instagram profile, and she encourages subscribers to try on different clothes and share wardrobes with their friends.

“I get really interesting messages from people with comments made by their partners,” she said.

“A blog is only part of our sense of humor”

Olivia says that sometimes her blog is misunderstood and she receives messages from fans stating that she should get out of the relationship if the guy is manipulating.

The girl comments: “I think that sometimes not everyone understands the English sense of sarcasm and humor.”

Most of its audience are women aged 20 to 30 years living in the capital.

Olivia admits that she is not monetizing her blog. She continued: “I never exclude anything and would like to spend more time in my profile. But I have no plans at the moment to make a professional blogger career. ”
