Polish priest handed out money to parishioners during the service: the public reacted ambiguously

During the church service, the Polish priest Adam Pavlovsky distributed money to the parishioners. In total, 500 zlotys (8.9 thousand rubles) migrated into the pockets of the people who came. The priests mainly tried to give coins to children.

Unusual action of a priest from Rogalin

The situation occurred in the church of St. Marcelina in the small Polish village of Rogalin. In total, no more than 700 people live there.

The priest himself says that his actions with the distribution of money is a simple gesture of gratitude. He posted a post on the Internet, and he immediately began to comment.

Bribery or gratitude?

But is it right to reward people for going to church for money? The reaction of the parishioners to the actions of the priest was different. Someone said that by such actions Adam Pavlovsky wants to attract more people to attend church.

One user wrote to the priest that if a person wants to go to church, then he does not need any stimulation. This is his desire. Bribing people to attend church is definitely not the way to go.

Adam Pavlovsky himself denies the charge of bribery. He says that this action was supposed to lead the parishioners to the right thoughts. This action was not the purpose of bribery. The priest is full of hope that thanks to this action, parishioners will remember that sermon until the end of their days.
