Health worker passes DNA test and inherits $ 60 million

In August last year, a millionaire from Britain died. Everyone believed that he did not have an heir. But a guy appeared who inherited his vast $ 60 million estate in Cornwall, England.

DNA test

But that was before the DNA test of the 62-year-old manor lord, who died in his car at the Penrose estate of 1,536 acres after decades of heavy drug use, was done.

Surprisingly, the results showed that Rogers really had an heir - 31-year-old Jordan Adlard-Rogers from the neighboring city of Portleven, according to Cornwall Live.

The heir was found

According to the publication, Adlard Rogers, who reportedly grew up separately and had financial difficulties for a long time, quit his job and moved to the estate with 30-year-old Katie Hubber and their newborn son Joshua.

But not before he sent Kate on a trip to New York after he handed over the keys to Penrose, which was bought by the Rogers family in 1771.

To top it all off, according to Cornwall Live, Adlard-Roger is also currently receiving $ 1,300 in benefits per week.

“I don’t live here for long and don’t know all the details, but I could guess everything,” Adlard-Rogers told Cornwall Live about the events that changed life.

“Charles never lived on the estate. He lived in one of the manor estates, since his mother lived here, so he did not have the opportunity to inherit it. They died two weeks later, and his brother also had the right to live on the estate instead of him, ”said Adlard-Rogers.

“It got to the point that he refused everything and lived in his car, and not in his house, because there was a terrible mess inside,” said Adlard-Rogers about his father.

These days, Penrose was run by the National Trust, a historic charity that donated the estate to the Rogers family in 1974 in exchange for a 1,000-year lease to continue living there. Since then, it has become a tourist destination with various cafes, fenced gardens, summer cottages, as well as many hiking, cycling and horse riding routes.

It also boasts a combination of farmland and forests, an ancient silver mine and, as they say, the place where King Arthur was mortally wounded and died.

The horror story of Adlard-Rogers is sad. Growing up a mile from the estate, he reportedly knew from the age of eight that Charles Rogers might have been his father.

Why didn’t the relationship be established before?

He was offered to do a DNA analysis as a child. But some events prevented this. And when the guy was 18, he came to the aristocrat and asked if he could pass the analysis now. He agreed on one condition. Lawyers must be present. At this age, the guy's priorities were different.

He added: “I wrote him a letter at the age of twenty, but never received an answer. Then he decided to act through a proxy. But he said that the millionaire did not want to do the test, and then I went all-in. I wrote the last letter. He attached a kit for analysis. But it was too late, Charles was already in the next world. But they managed to do the test.

It was at this point that a DNA test was performed, and the life of Adlard-Rogers changed forever. Yet all this remains a bittersweet event - and probably always will be.

Many talk about luck guy. But as he said, he would give everything in order to return time and prove to Charles that he is his son. After all, years spent with relatives will not be replaced by any wealth.

What he is doing now?

His path could be completely different. At the moment, he is busy adapting to his new life after the inheritance as the lord of the estate.

In his interview, he stated that he no longer needed to work. He will create charitable organizations to help different communities.

He was very worried about the next bill, and the first few years of his life were incredibly difficult, but now he is here, has wealth and wants to help people. He always remembers his homeland.
