Robots advance: Horizon of Robotics startup company from Israel displaces window cleaners from the labor market

One of the most difficult jobs in the world is washing the glass of skyscrapers. Despite the fact that glass washers pay a lot of money, there is a shortage of personnel in this area of work. This situation has moved the Israeli company SkyLine Robotics to occupy its niche in this promising segment of the labor market. She suggests using robots that will do the work of humans.

Robots will replace humans, but they will not lose their jobs

According to the CEO of this company, Yaron Schwartz, skyscraper window washers will not remain idle. They will control robotic equipment from the ground.

Yaron Schwartz says that earlier robots often ceased to function properly if an emergency occurred, for example, when someone opens a window. His company solved this problem in a cardinal way by developing sensors to help robots "feel the building." These sensors, he said, made it possible to create devices that mimic human hands.

"If any obstacle appears, the robot will bypass it and continue to work in the previous mode," Schwartz said.

3D maps to help

In order for them to be able to do their work in the normal mode, window-washing robots for skyscrapers need 3D maps, which indicate all obstacles, decoration elements (balusters, etc.). It also helps to deliver robots to the work site without incident or delay.

Yaron Schwartz says that the cleaning system that is used to clean the windows of skyscrapers does not involve the use of soap. For washing, a special solution is used, consisting mainly of pure water, which absorbs salt, oil, minerals, sand.

The company of Yaron Schwartz works with management organizations. She does not sell her equipment to skyscraper owners. According to Yaron Schwartz, the strategy that he and his colleagues are promoting makes it possible to reduce human labor by 10 percent and significantly reduce the financial costs of washing windows in skyscrapers.

Finally

I believe that the introduction of robots in any area of human activity will lead to the fact that the latter will ultimately remain completely without work. It is beneficial only to company executives. Simple workers will only suffer from this. What do you think about this, dear friends?
