The North-West Administrative District of Moscow is the 1st of 12 districts of the Russian capital. It is abbreviated as SZAO. This district consists of 12 districts. The district is headed by Prefect Pashkov Alexey Anatolevich. He was appointed to this position in April 2015. The previous prefect was Goverdovsky Vladimir Vyacheslavovich. He led the district from April 2012 to April 2015.
