This is exactly what can be said about people who adhere to the dress code so much that they lose their personality. In the short term, a strict office outfit by the rules may give confidence. However, in the long run, a person realizes that he is losing himself, compromises with himself. Moreover, in this style he can look rather inorganic, which can interfere with his career growth.

Simple clothes

Dressing well and tastefully does not mean looking untidy, sloppy, or out of place. This means choosing your own individual style that will stand out from the crowd. That is why experts advise to avoid elaborate and too strict outfits in favor of simple neutral clothes. It is not at all an indicator of unprofessionalism. On the contrary, a person with his own style and taste will achieve greater success in his career, since he does not try to attach importance to himself and seem not to be what he really is.

So do not bother when choosing a work wardrobe. It is enough that you look neat and well-groomed. Focusing on the perfect appearance and pretentiousness, you only distract clients, work colleagues and superiors from their professional qualities.
