What happened to the famous team of Apple executives who presented the world with iPhone in 2007

It is unlikely that today there is a person who is not familiar with devices from Apple. Despite the fact that the company was founded in the 1970s, it gained a second wave of popularity in 2007, when it introduced to the world its, perhaps, the main offspring - IPhone. The smartphone immediately became incredibly popular. And all this thanks to the team that Steve Jobs gathered around him. Their photo is presented on the cover. Who are they?

Man of incredible charisma

Start with Steve Jobs. It was he with John Scully who founded Apple. But he was removed from the company in 1985. Steve Jobs is a man of strong will and, without wasting time, founded his own company - Next Computers. In 1997, the company bought Apple's startup, and Jobs was able to persuade management to appoint him to the post of CEO. Perhaps he was the best leader in the history of the apple company. Everyone who knew Steve Jobs closely noted that he possessed incredible charisma. He easily found a language with people and could invite any specialist he liked to work with him.

In 2003, Steve Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and, instead of traditional medicine, he confided in an alternative. But she only slowed down the course of the disease. In 2011, a man died. The whole world mourned his loss.

Safari, Siri and SDK

Even before it became known about the death of Steve Jobs, many were sure that Scott Forstop would take his post. The fact is that they have known each other since Jobs founded Next Computers. After both continued to work at Apple. It is Forstop who owns the ideas of Safari, Siri, SDK (a set of tools for developing applications by third-party developers) and the Mac interface. As the person responsible for the software products of the company, he spoke at presentations of devices about their features.

But Forstop’s smooth work and career can’t be called insiders - he said that he was in conflict with colleagues and most of all with Joni Ive on design and software issues. IPhone users criticized him for Siri. As a result, the man left the company in 2013.

According to data from social networks, Forstop traveled a lot, was engaged in charity work and became the producer of one of the Broadway musicals.

NestLabs and Future Shape instead of Apple

In the 90s, Tony Fadell opened his own electronics company, but due to lack of funding it had to be closed. But Fadell and Jobs were destined to meet in 2001, when the first was invited to the company for design development, and already in 2006 took the post of vice president for the development of the iPod.

In 2008, Fadell left his post and went on a trip. It was then that he came up with the idea of founding NestLabs. Fadell was co-founded by Matt Rogers. Both previously worked at Apple. The new company was engaged in the creation of thermostats, smoke detectors and the installation of automated home monitoring systems remotely.

6 years after the founding, the partners sold NestLabs Apple, and Fadell took a leadership position in Future Shape. Here he advised engineers and scientists working in the field of technology.

Close friends

Despite the fact that with all the leaders of Apple, Steve Jobs was closely acquainted and worked for a long time, Sir Joni Ive is called one of the closest associates of the founder of Apple. They met at a time when Steve Jobs inspected the office and got acquainted with the staff. Joni Ive got into the company thanks to a contract that the company entered into with his college. According to eyewitnesses, Jobs and Ive quickly found a common language, dined together and asked each other for advice on important issues. Together they designed the company's leading projects, including Apple Park - a huge campus.

Insiders say that Joni Ive was hard on the boss’s death, lost interest in the job, and didn’t do it very well. In 2019, Ive decided to say goodbye to the company and open his own design studio.

Marketing shark

This is about Phil Schiller. He and Eddie Kew are the two who have remained from those executives who introduced the IPhone to the world. He is a senior vice president of international marketing, and not a single presentation of the company's products and, in the first place, new models of the cult smartphone can do without him. At these meetings, he introduces fans and developers to the new device features. He came to Apple when Steve Jobs bought the company back in 1997.

Since then, he has done tremendous work for the corporation, including marketing companies for iTunes, IMac and iPod. One of the most important achievements that has significantly improved the lives of iPod users is a spinning wheel for switching music instead of standard buttons.

Software and customer support

Unique apple product software is the work of Eddie Kew. He joined Apple in 1989 and has remained there ever since. He is currently vice president of software. He participated in the creation of the most important device platforms, such as the Apple Store, iTunes Store and applications. Thanks to Eddie Kew, iCloud has evolved from a nondescript service to a super popular.

Steve Jobs was able to assemble a strong team. It was she who gave the world devices that are difficult to compete with. And it seems that with the departure of Jobs, not only Apple lost a strong leader, but the world lost the chance to become a witness and owner of new inventions.
