If you do not value your employees and do not understand their emotions, then you are a bad leader. What questions should the boss not answer negatively

People were originally created in order to learn, develop and communicate with others. This, of course, applies to the workplace. Most of us long for close ties with our colleagues in achieving common goals and creating values. This makes the job easier.

Where does it all start? Creating a culture of close cooperation begins with the fact that leaders set the tone for creating the conditions necessary to increase the efficiency of human labor. What questions the manager should not answer negatively, we will find out below.

True leadership

Leaders understand that true leadership is to give benefits to those who lead their personal interests. Unfortunately, for many this is a difficult task.

The truth is that leaders who want to value and develop others for the benefit of each person will have a significant impact on the people they hire and the customers they serve.

In the end, leaders of any level should hold a mirror in their hands and ask some self-reflective questions in order to assess whether they meet high standards of leadership. The more often you answer “no” to the following six questions, the more clues you will have that you may have problems ahead (or a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills).

Do you understand your own emotions and the emotions of others?

Great leaders are ready to be transparent and famous. They realize and understand not only themselves, but also their incentives for better self-government. They also understand others and know how to empathize. They are open to participation in the problems of both employees and their subordinates.

Do you really appreciate other people?

Great leaders value others, believe and trust their people. They show respect, dignity and respect for their employees. They listen receptively, without judgment, and often put others first in front of them.

Do you have a natural tendency to want to grow and develop others?

Helping others grow is important to you. Great leaders provide learning and growth and develop the potential of others. They lead others through support and respect.

Do you lead people to a brighter future?

Great leaders see the future and attract their people to share this vision. They take the initiative and move forward, and then join their team, explaining the goals and expectations.

Do you share your leadership?

Great leaders share their power, lowering it to lower ranks, and through all this give others the opportunity to make decisions. By sharing status with respect to office and authority, they use persuasion to influence others, not coercion.

Do you support a team or culture based on diversity and integration?

Great leaders encourage a sense of belonging and communication for all team members by working together and emphasizing teamwork. They recognize and value the differences of others and any gifts, talents, personalities and points of view that they bring to the team.
