My girlfriend loves going to her simple office job. She said that she helps to maintain a positive attitude.

According to my observations, now there is some kind of strange fashion to hate my current job and at the same time dream of becoming a freelancer or starting a startup. It is believed that this is the only way to become a happy person, and remaining the so-called office plankton, you can only live the gray groundhog day again and again.

My girlfriend works at a simple job - in accounting for a fairly large company. However, she absolutely does not have what is called Monday syndrome. She goes to work with pleasure and considers herself a completely happy person. Of course, I started asking her, suspecting that maybe she just fell in love with someone there. It turned out that no. Of course, she didn’t come up with the secrets, which I will tell later, she says that she read on the Internet, but she checked them and adapted them for herself.

She made friends with several colleagues

It is difficult to be happy if you work with people you don’t know, and you don’t communicate with almost anyone. A friend chose a pair of colleagues who seemed close to her in spirit, and slowly became friends with them. Now she always has someone to go to dinner with or to sit in a cafe on Friday evening, every day she is pleased that she will see people who are pleasant to her and will be able to share news with them, and in a critical situation she will even find support and understanding.

She tries to have some achievement at work almost every day.

For some reason, we believe that something grandiose is needed for happiness, but in fact it consists of habits, small things, just in large numbers. For example, a report handed in a little earlier than the deadline, an idea that helped someone, even documents disassembled and put in order so that the eye rejoices. A friend at the end of the day spends a couple of minutes to summarize and write down such trifles, as a result, the impression of a good day remains.

She uses different techniques to improve productivity.

Many people feel happy that they are becoming more professional in their work. My girlfriend is no exception. She loves to read articles and books on productivity, time management and more. But she does not just read, but tests all this in practice. If she found out about the Pomodoro system, then on Monday she will begin to test it on herself.

She attends professional seminars with pleasure, and is interested in legislative changes. This was noticed by the managers, she was already trusted more than once to train new employees.

She always allocates time for rest during the day.

Resting is very important in order to feel good and work productively. At the same time, quality rest is a change of activity. You can’t relax after working at the computer, flipping through a feed on social networks, it’s much better to go to a separate room, drink tea or coffee, chat with colleagues. The ideal option is to go for a walk.

She tries to lead a healthy lifestyle.

A friend, along with fellow colleagues, introduces healthy habits. In good weather, at lunchtime, they go for walks, began to choose healthier foods, agreed and began to visit the fitness room, which is not far from work, all together twice a week.

She works on problems gradually, step by step, and does not try to solve them all together

A friend admitted that she once succumbed to the mood on the Internet and began to believe that her work was so-so and it would be nice to become a freelancer to work on a laptop on the beach.At some point, she became so unhappy from all these thoughts that she was ready to give up everything and begin to realize a beautiful picture from a social network. However, she decided to wait and first carefully analyze the situation.

She wrote on a piece of paper what exactly she did not like in her current work, and what she liked. Thinking and writing out what problems she wanted to solve with the help of an escape to the seashore with a laptop. There were more pluses than minuses, and as a result, she faced a list of tasks that she began to solve one by one slowly. She realized, for example, that it was not work itself that made her unhappy, but that she felt lonely there, then she looked around and found someone to make friends with. I realized that she was too tired, because she lacked organization. I came to the conclusion that two vacations of two weeks a year is not enough for her, she feels more comfortable if she rests three times a year: once two weeks and twice a week. I realized that she did not have enough impressions, and began to work on it. It took her several months to transition, but the changes that were taking place little by little were pleasing and inspired to move on.

And then one Sunday evening she caught herself in the joy of having to go to work on Monday. She was pleased with the opportunity to see her colleagues, she wanted to quickly introduce a new method of increasing productivity, and also start using a beautiful diary.
