I quit my previous job to make herbariums under glass (photo)

Perhaps today you will not surprise anyone with stories about how people quit their jobs for the sake of a hobby. I always liked flowers and I really wanted to keep some bouquets for memory as long as possible, because it is not only beautiful, but also helps to keep pleasant memories. GOne year ago, I started learning how to make glass herbaria. At first I dried them in the traditional way, in books. I had to train a lot to keep the flowers in the best condition, because it is important for the herbarium that they look bright and vibrant. Now, after this difficult year, it is time to share the latest creations.

Unfading beauty under glass

It looks like lilac, which was dried under a press.

I had to learn the method of soldering stained glass using the Tiffany technique to create my own framework for my herbariums.

Here is one of the finished works.

The purple flowers that I like to use look amazing.

These flowers were collected by me in my hometown.

I often make sets because flowers look great together. And sometimes I try to experiment with the composition.

I like to make beautiful little things.

Once I was lucky to get a real sakura flower, but I also like ordinary wildflowers.

These herbaria fit perfectly into any interior.
