Nadella Satya is an American top manager who was born in India. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Microsoft. Nadella was appointed to this position on February 4, 2014, after leaving Steve Ballmer. Before becoming Microsoft CEO, he served as Executive Vice President of Cloud and Enterprise, responsible for computing platforms, development tools, and cloud computing services.
Years of youth
Satya Nadella, whose nationality is called Telugu, was born in 1967 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. His father, Bukkapuram Nadella Jugandher, was a civil servant in local government. Satya went to a public school in Hyderabad, and after graduation received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology (later merged with the University of Mangalore).
Nadella Satya then traveled to the United States to study computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he successfully defended his diploma in 1990. He later also graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from Buta Business School, University of Chicago.
Satya Nadella says that he always wanted to create something.
