South Korea’s YouTube star, known by the pseudonym Boram, recently bought a five-story building in the fashionable Seoul area. The purchase price amounted to more than eight million dollars. Given that Boram earns over three million dollars a year, she can afford it. By the way, the blogger is only six years old.
Strange purchase
Almost all Korean publications wrote about the strange acquisition of a child. What caused such close attention to the life of a blogger? Firstly, in South Korea, she is a real star. Secondly, it is not known why, in principle, Boram and her parents needed a five-story house built in 1975 and with an area of about 260 square meters. Obviously, no one is going to live in it. Now the media are wondering about the reasons for such a strange investment.

Boram has two channels on YouTube. One has about fourteen million subscribers. Here, a girl makes reviews of toys. The size of the second channel is about eighteen million people.
The girl puts out videos of an entertaining nature. Either she cooks the noodles, then she eats on the camera, then she’s just fooling around, singing, dancing or discussing something.
Scandals
Despite Boram's immense popularity, many Koreans are skeptical of such a business. The girl’s parents have been repeatedly blamed for the fact that they earn money from the child and exploit child labor. Haters believe that such education can adversely affect the psyche of Boram in adulthood.
Parents of Boram are also accused of propagating the wrong values. For example, viewers were terribly outraged by a video where a six-year-old girl drives a car on her own and drives along the busy roads of Seoul. Also, a wave of indignation fell on the blogger and her parents after she posted a video where she steals money from her dad from a purse.
Activists of the Save the Children organization filed a lawsuit against Boram's parents for publishing such videos. A terrible scandal erupted. Mom and dad girls could not justify their behavior and apologized for such videos. They said that it was a private video, they were very sorry that it was publicly available on the World Wide Web.
This incident happened two years ago. After that, Boram and his parents began to take a more responsible approach to the format of their content. More such incidents did not happen. Probably, adults made certain conclusions.
