Twisting machine

The manufacturing technology of cable products consists of several stages, providing a full cycle of work. First of all, the preparation of metal cores (copper or aluminum) takes place. This is done by drawing wire of a thicker diameter wound on a huge bay. This process is carried out by pulling it through a series of draggers with tapering consecutive holes.

As a result, conductive wires of the future cable are formed. The next step is coating the metal with insulation. For this, the veins enter the extruder, in which granular polyethylene is preheated to a predetermined temperature. The molten mixture envelops the metal and with it exits through the hole, which provides alignment of the core in the shell.

Next, the resulting wire is cooled by pulling it through a bath, which is irrigated with water. After this, a check is carried out for compliance with diameter, eccentricity, tightness. In addition, the wire is subjected to a 250V insulation test. If it meets all the requirements, it ends up on a winder.

Here, coils of a given length are formed. The entire described cycle occurs in automatic mode, the process can not be stopped. The next operation is twisting the wires in a special twisting machine and making insulation of the finished cable. This process takes place in an extruder. If necessary, you can add a third operation - product reservation. In this case, the cable is coated with a layer of lead or steel.
