Application for employment: features of writing and writing rules

For the proper execution of labor relations, one of the main documents is a job application. It expresses the desire of a citizen to conclude an agreement on further cooperation with the employer.

An application for employment is the starting point of assuming office. This moment is usually preceded by a certain series of events. First, applicants send a resume to the employer, which sets out all the necessary information about themselves: contact information, information about education and work experience, information about additional skills and opportunities. After this, the future candidate is invited to an interview with the leader or other person in charge. Based on the results of such a meeting, the final decision is usually taken. Having decided on the choice, the employer proceeds to the registration procedure. In this case, the future employee is required to begin with the presentation of the necessary documents in accordance with article 65 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Then, to draw up an employment contract form, you must write a job application. That it will be the starting point of the beginning of the career. Subsequently, this document will be stored in the personnel department.

Important features

It is worth noting that the application for employment is not in itself a fact of labor relations. In any case, they must be properly legalized in accordance with applicable rules. Firstly, such a document must have a resolution of the head. Otherwise, the completed paper will be only a fact of the opportunity to start work. But even this circumstance is valid only if there is irrefutable evidence of the receipt of this document by the employer. In practice, such situations happen quite often. For example, a worker asked about employment at an enterprise that is currently experiencing a shortage of personnel. He draws up a corresponding statement and on the same day proceeds with the performance of his duties. Documents are usually prepared a little later. But the registration of the application itself and the employer's visa allow him to be confident in the legality of his step and count on subsequent processing according to all the rules.

If you carefully study the Labor Code, it will become clear that the application itself is not required for execution (with the exception of government agencies). The basis for an order for admission to any work is directly only an employment contract. It will contain all the necessary information. The statement, in fact, is the request of the employee. It is usually left by the head, the head of the department (section) and other senior officials. This document can be considered an occasion to conclude a contract. But most enterprises, as a rule, prefer to have such paper and offer the future employee to nevertheless write a job application. A sample of this document cannot be found in any directories. The text is compiled arbitrarily and is usually written by hand. It shall alternately contain the following information:

  • employee data (full name, address);
  • FULL NAME. a leader;
  • name of company;
  • future specialty (profession);
  • features of work;
  • date and signature (with decoding) of the employee.

Subsequently, the document is attached to other documents provided by the employee.

Each person at least once in a lifetime goes through a hiring procedure. Almost no one can do without this. After filling out a wide variety of questionnaires and personal conversations, the moment comes when you need to draw up the very cherished application for employment. An example of writing it can be suggested by any staff member. A document usually consists of 3 parts:

  1. Cap. In the right corner of the usual sheet (A4 format) the name of the enterprise and full name are indicated leader. All data about the future employee are also indicated here.
  2. Main part. A little lower in the center is the word “statement” (with a small letter). The following is a request from a citizen to be hired in a particular specialty (or hired). In addition, the specific date of the proposed exit to work is indicated.
  3. The document ends with the date of its preparation and the personal signature of the applicant (with full decoding).

If necessary, qualification is indicated in the main part, as well as the workshop (or section) where the employee will work.

Any person, besides the main job, can quite legitimately engage in other activities, that is, work part-time. Depending on the location of the tenant, they distinguish between internal (additional work at the same enterprise) and external (fulfilling the duties of another employer) part-time job. In both cases, an application for admission to part-time work. In principle, it is no different from a typical model document. Drafting follows the same rules, with the exception of one point. In the presentation of the main part, the wording must necessarily contain the phrase “part-time”. In addition, the following documents are submitted for registration:

  • application for admission;
  • copy of passport (with presentation of the original);
  • certificate from the main place of work;
  • extract from the work book.

If necessary, the employer may require to present copies of existing documents on education (qualifications), which allows you to take a particular position (perform work). If there is an internal part-time job, only an application and documents confirming the qualifications will be needed.
