Many people want to go abroad. But this requires an appropriate document. Namely, the passport of a new sample, a sample of which is provided below. Now they no longer accept applications for documents that citizens received earlier. Now only their biometric counterparts for 10 years are issued. But in order to get them, you need to go through some procedure: collect documents, stand in line and submit an application. And I would like to tell you more about it, citing as an example a sample application form for a new passport (presented below).
What does the form look like?

All information over the past ten years is strictly by date. For example: “01. 09. 2008 - 30. 06. 2012 - student of Moscow State University (address) ”, etc. Even if a person did not work and did not study at any time period, this should also be written indicating the dates. Regarding military service - the same thing. You must write the period, the name of the military unit and its address.
What documents are needed?

First, you need a general passport and copies of all its filled pages. You can bring the paper in a single copy, but it is better to make two just in case. If there is a work book, it is necessary to present it, plus copies of the completed pages. For men and youths, it is mandatory to have a military card or a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office. And, of course, the receipt of payment of the state duty. What else do you need to know about the new passport? The questionnaire is filled out, documents are collected. What to do next? After that, you need to pay for the service. The cost is 3,500 rubles for adults and 1,500 for children. This is more expensive than an old-style passport, which cost from 300 to 1 thousand rubles. But it is logical, because in the process of manufacturing a biometric document, new materials and completely different technologies are used. By the way, a biometric passport differs from the old one in that a microchip with personal data is sewn into its middle. Thanks to him, forging such a document is almost impossible. A biometric passport has been issued in Russia since 2006 as part of a pilot project. Already in 2009, a full-fledged issuance of such a document was established.
How to pay?
In each department of the FMS there are details. You need to come to the place and rewrite them, and then make the payment. The simplest and fastest method is the Sberbank terminal. There already there are details, you just need to select the item "payment of state duty on a new passport of a foreign standard". No commission is charged, and you will have to spend no more than a minute on the entire procedure if there is no queue to the terminal, of course. Just do not forget to indicate your name at the time of filling and pick up the receipt. It will need to be brought along with all other documents to the FMS for registration of a passport.
