And the most expensive horse of the 21st century - Green Monkey, has a beautiful chocolate color and mane, which makes it special.And even without victories, relying on famous parents, he gained great popularity and value. 
Prices for the best horses
As already mentioned, prices for high-breed horses are going wild. The same Shareef Dancer was initially bought for $ 3.3 million, and after victories - sold for $ 40 million.
This is still the highest known stallion value. The price always depends on the age, gene pool and level of training of the horse. For a horse named Annihilator they gave 19.2 million dollars (in 1989), and Green Monkey - for 16 million.
The most expensive breed is a rare sarraya (descendants of wild horses). Today, there are only about two hundred goals left - this determines the high cost. The Austrian breed of snow-white horses, Lipizsaner, which was bred specifically for the court of the emperor, is also expensive. And the cost of the same horse, named Sharif Dancer, was influenced by both the breed, and participation in prestigious competitions, and its pedigree. 
Areas of use for horses
Since ancient times, the horse is a friend and helper of man. In agriculture, in war, in sports, and in the circus — its presence was important everywhere. Even in the age of high technology, a good horse costs a lot of money - you can just admire it, watch how it moves and realize its involvement in a miracle. This animal cannot be called otherwise.
Breeding thoroughbred horses can bring a high income to the owner of such a business. The stallion Green Manki has never taken part in competitions (races), but his price is high and is due solely to his pedigree. His parents are champions of the prestigious Kentucky race.
Equestrian Sports
Of course, equestrian sport is the common name for various species, which can be reduced, according to the classical classification, to three main ones:

- Dressage - the most mysterious look - is a dance on a horse. And in other words - art, high school of riding.
- Eventing is the most difficult. It includes ring riding, show jumping and field trials.
Among other interesting types: vaulting, racing, racing, driving, runs, skidjoring, racing and others. Usually in sports there is a division into men's and women's competitions. But this rule does not work in equestrian sport. Here women and men compete on an equal footing, without division.
The horse and rider are one. In addition to riding and physical training, the rider needs to have certain qualities of character so that the horse obeys him. Even the most expensive horse, possessing excellent qualities at the genetic level, cannot guarantee a victory to the rider. He must also possess the qualities necessary for a successful rider and sufficient experience.
