Sergey Hestanov: biography
The future economist was born in Chelyabinsk in 1969. His father was a military man, because of this, the Hestanovs constantly moved from place to place. Almost all of Sergei’s childhood passed in Kiev. Here he graduated from school, after which he entered Kiev State University.
The first place of work of Sergei Hestanov was the Alagirsky resistance plant. He got there in 1986. However, he soon realized that this business was not to his liking. Therefore, in 1994, he first tried himself in the stock market.
In early 2002, Sergey Hestanov arranged to work in the Finam investment holding, which is located in Rostov-on-Don. Two years later, he already becomes the chairman of the expert council of this company. And in 2006, he was appointed to the position of managing director, which once again proves the effectiveness of his business strategies.
In 2011, Sergey Hestanov transferred to work in ALOR Group of Companies, where he was also entrusted with the position of managing director. But in 2014 he leaves the company, after which he is taken by the macroeconomic adviser from the director general of Otkritie Broker.
Also in 2014, he became one of the assistant professors at the RANEPA. There he teaches market trading and financial engineering.

To begin with, Sergey Hestanov is the developer of many innovative theories and techniques. So, he was the first to introduce such a concept as risk management system commercial bank. And although in European countries it was already known about it, for Russia it was a big breakthrough.
