Waiting for train

Do not forget the most basic
While still at home, check if you have taken tickets and passports with you, your child’s birth certificate. As a luggage, take the whole, without defects, bag or suitcase. Make sure that the latter has good wheels, a strong handle for vertical transportation and a handle for carrying, lifting. In your luggage, all zippers should be tightly fastened - these are one more safety rules in a train.
What is the reason for this? Imagine that your luggage bag has a zipper broken. You lift it to the top shelf, at the moment of tilting a thick book pops out of the side pocket and painfully hits your fellow traveler on the back or head with a corner.
Do not take with you those products that deteriorate quickly, alcohol should not be among your things. Being drunk is also prohibited. Remember, the train conductor will be punished for your actions in a state of affect. Why put your responsibility on him? For being drunk you can be dropped off at any station and in any weather.
In the wagon

If you do not know if you have an old car or a new / modernized one, ask the guide. The fact is that in the last ones mentioned there are dry closets that you can always use, they don’t close it. But for it to work properly, follow a simple rule - do not throw anything into the toilet: neither toilet paper, nor paper towel, or cotton pads. For all this, there are garbage cans on your left or right. It is important for men to know that shaving while the train is moving is fraught with cuts.
Back to the dry closets: do not forget to flush with yourself.
In the old type cars, the toilets are ordinary, everything that flushes into the toilet goes out on the way. During parking and when driving in large cities, a sanitary zone is declared. At the same time, toilets are closed by conductors. Open when the train moves far enough away from the village.
Outlets, hot water
Ask the conductor what can be connected if you see a socket with the inscription “220 V”.In no case do not connect any appliances without permission, do not turn on boilers, kettles. You can get burned. Hot water is in titanium (at the beginning of the car near the conductor’s compartment). If you do not know how to use it, call the conductor. Never pour water into the glass to the brim. Pour a little more than half water.
Cold water can be purchased from a conductor or poured from a cooler, if available.
Children
The carriages are always noisy when the kids go. Parents must explain to them the safety rules on the train:
- not to run;
- do not jump from shelf to shelf;
- Do not play outdoor games;
- Do not scream at the whole car, especially at night and during a quiet hour;
- go to the toilet and titanium only accompanied by adults (children under 10 years old).
It is recommended that children choose only the lower shelves when buying a ticket.
Meal
On the road, it is better to take plastic bottles with drinks with a volume of not more than 0.6 liters. Put them in the middle of the table by the window, laying several products. So you will prevent a fall during sudden braking of the train.
Do not use a knife to cut foods. Take care of this at home: chop everything you need and put it in a bag / container.
No need to fill up the whole table with food. If possible, leave it clean and free.
Shelving
When boarding a train, sit only where your place is. For example, if your place is “3” (upper shelf), then sit under it, next to a neighbor from a lower place. Place a heavy suitcase under the bottom seat, light items on top of the luggage rack. Agree with a neighbor who will post their things and how.

- If you are riding on the top shelf, you must mount the special holder vertically. Thus, you will protect yourself from falling, as well as prevent the mattress from sliding on the smooth surface of the shelf.

- Buy a ticket only with the lower shelf, if you have violations in coordination of movement, heavy weight, fear of heights.

Follow the rules of decency on the train to avoid conflict situations. Talk quietly and do not listen to music without headphones.
The tickets for long-distance trains at the very bottom say "No smoking!" Take this seriously. You cannot open the side doors and the front door in the first and last cars. You can get down to the platform only with the permission of the guide during parking. Do not go far from the train.
